Why does Luz Candles exist?
Luz founded Luz Candle in 2023, inspired by a personal journey of grief following the loss of her father. She began crafting candles for the Mexican tradition of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), wanting to create something truly special to honour his memory.
What started as a comforting ritual, soon became a daily practice, bringing her peace and healing. Over time, this passion evolved into a business, one where every handmade creation is still made deeply from the heart. This healing journey revealed her true purpose: to illuminate spaces and moments, transforming everyday environments into atmospheres of calm and connection through art, light, and fragrance.
